love waits
patient, unseen
outside of time
love cloaks as
car accident
or chronic illness
baby’s breath
or first ripe
spring berry
all things
are time-bound
for loss—
but this love
waits
waits for you
to turn around
to finally turn
inside

I’m writing a poem a day. These are drafts—not final versions.
I like the baby’s breath and the ending. =)

Eloquent, profound and lovely; the idea of baby’s breath and first ripe raspberries a perfect evocation of worldly love objectified; many congratulations.
