the slide
like gravity
thoughts take us
down
a well-greased
slide
into the pit
of our suffering
selves
when you feel
the bleak pull
you know
what this is
a groove so deep
it’s hard to resist
familiar
even inviting
a yawning pit
the price
is too high
stop.
set them down
walk away

I’m writing a poem a day. These are drafts—not final versions.
Dear friend,
This is so familiar. Even as we build our energetic fields clear of such habits, the fascia of fear pulls us back into position. We know our dance is freer when we lay down the burden of beliefs. Much love to you! And thank you, as always, for bringing the nectar! 💜
