love more
note from self
banish indifference
and most of all hate
hearken with care
to what others’ say—
when they enrage
you learn from them
and they from you
love more, love wide
it can land like a gift
and cure what ails—
cherish the bees
at the birdbath that
scare away goldfinch
slugs rasping on
tender pea shoots
gorging gophers
that frolic beneath
love them all
join the love troupe!
the world needs
love—more love
