nameless and free
note from self
we all carry names—
required on this planet
of thises and thats
they are needed
and useful but
do not believe them
they hide a clear truth
obvious and unseen
we are one moving whole
in this unbounded array
the fox doesn’t know
she’s a vixen, nor the
wren aware it’s a bird
neither rattler a snake
nor mustang a horse—
they offer themselves
inhabit their being in
accord with their way

I’m writing a poem a day. These are drafts—not final versions.

Also Penelope, I’m interested to see that you went back and read some older poems. Thank you! I love being connected with people in this way.
