What do we know, other than knowing?
Pause now and ponder this: If all your senses–sight, hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling–were taken away, the world would go away with them. You would not experience a world at all, but awareness, the living “awaring,” would still be present. That awaring is what precedes all.
That’s what I’m inviting all of us to notice: that no thing that is prior. We can’t see it, or touch it, yet it is undeniably there.
