We talk about the veils that cover awareness– that block clear seeing from our view. This is a form of complaining that simply provides more to do, which takes us further away from the truth of what we are.
If we are willing to examine our direct experience with a ruthless openness to whatever we discover, no matter that it destroys our belief systems–we will discover that consciousness is never, ever veiled. That-that-is-not-an-it shines even when we are in the darkest hole, whether that hole be physical or emotional.
Nothing can veil what we are made of, even if we tell stories of that veiling all day, even if we believe in it wholeheartedly. There is nothing but consciousness, even though we may refer to a “car” or “relationship” or “chaotic world.”
First and only, not-two.
