what time is it?

What time is it?

No need to glance at your watch. It’s now.

What time was it when we walked the dogs last evening? Now. And memory–memory occurs right now, in the ever-present, a new present moment thought about the so-called past.

Time is a necessary and valuable convention, but it is only relatively true–awareness doesn’t live in time.

By all means, use the convention! It helps me catch my plane, meet up with friends, attend important meetings. It assists in making life work for humankind–although the natural world has done just fine without it. It’s always now for the billions of minerals, plants, and animals.

Take a moment to consider your own direct experience: when has it ever not been now?
