Versatile Blogger award nomination

Paul, who writes the “Resting in Awareness” blog has nominated me for the Versatile Blogger award. I’m startled and delighted when people are touched enough to thank me in this way. Life is full and varied, and I’m hardly at my computer these days to write, much less to read… but I’ll try to fulfill the request of this award. Nominating others will simply take some time, as I find other blogs that touch me.

Those nominated are asked to:

  1. Thank the person who gave them this award, and link to their blog.
  2. Nominate fifteen other bloggers.
  3. State seven things about themselves to the person who nominated them

I’d like to start my nominations with these:

Dominic: Vanishing Narrative

Kathie: Cast Light

This Unlit Light

Sam: Free Style Awakening

Sue Fagalde Lick

Lidona

Carol

Kim: Living Peacefully

Each of these people has touched my life in different ways. I thank all of them.

  1. Hi Skye! I know you sent me an email, but I can’t find it now, and don’t quite remember what it said… except about your blog (which is, of course, lovely as its author) and something about playing with IW puppies.

Does the puppy litter owner need any more help socializing the little ones? I would love to snuggle some puppies. One of my girls is off with the breeder for some professional showing, and breeding in November. I’m hoping to have puppies early in 2013 (!) and would love to talk with someone local about what to expect, whelping box size, etc etc… I’ve birthed 35+ jack russell puppies, but I’m sure that IWs are a whole different experience.

Also, doesn’t your lovely Deerhound want to come and play with a very lonely Wolfhound? With Molly gone, Maggie has taken to moping and 3X daily mournful howling (a very different song than their joyful chorus practice).

All of this should have been in a reply to your email, but… well, there you have it!

  2. Thank you, Amrita. I just replied to your comment on my blog, but I also wanted to come here to thank you. I may be poor at fulfilling the duties, but I thank you for thinking of me! I’ll be back here, now that I have bookmarked your blog.

    1. Hi,
Thanks for the mother’s day wishes! I picked blogs that will rarely be found, and a few of them (friends from grad school, or the U where I worked from 2009-2011) have nothing to do with spirituality at all.
      All the best, Dominic.
