Like-minded companionship, whether it be a warm-hearted sangha, a dear friend, or a beloved partner, seems vital to igniting and inviting the non-dual view.
For me, the direct reflection people provide has fueled the separate self’s unwinding and deconstruction. If one is more insular or physically isolated, books, MP3 files, and videos of awake friends will help–but at some point, working one-on-one is invaluable, if not essential. We can’t see what we don’t see, or know what we don’t know–but it can be reflected to us, with love.
I hold deep gratitude for those who have done that for me. You know who you are!
