Does gender play at all in expressing the non-dual view? Most of us turn toward these teachings still believing we are a separate self–we are well-grounded in our manhood or womanhood. Is there a way that women can express these teachings that differs from men? Does it make a difference? I find I don’t want gender to play in this at all–but I’m not sure. Perhaps as (imagined) separate selves, we can approach the teachings from someone of the same gender more easily? Perhaps the bell of clarity might ring more brightly?
This question is living deeply in me now.
