A global understanding opened yesterday.

My prior assumption had been that the continuity I experience must be the separate self.

I knew myself not to be that separate self, but the seeming sense of cohesion was confusing.

Now clearly seen: the assumption was incorrect. The continuity is awareness. Easy to rest there! The separate self comes and goes within that continuity that is always, ever, present. “It” is all there is.
